there was a bit of a hassle and confusion at the airport. the transportation man forgot to carry the sign, which the 2 guests were looking for. so when approached by my dad they shrugged him off saying they had a ride - only to discover an hour later that oopsies! that was their ride.
other than that, all went well. blah blah blah...
now for more important stuff...
today was market day!
got a couple of items. two scarves and a tank top (3 euros each) and one shirt (5 euros). then we passed by the shoe store my cousin works at. got 4 pairs for 8.40 euros! it's never that cheap though. they had to close the store for a couple of days due to a ceiling leakage. so when they re-opened they needed to sell the "damaged" shoes. but it also pays to have family discount :)
didn't do too much damage this morning since i knew later we were going to the mall.
though things never go as planned because when getting ready my zio came by. didn't mind the interruption since he brought this cool guy.

i was surprised they let him loose around nonna's place, but i figured he's fine since they do bring him down often... then he took a piss on nonna's fridge! bahaha
my zio then took the car my family was using cuz you can't just drive any car around where they were staying (in old tivoli). you need some sort of special permit? blah blah... point being by the time he came back and we got to tiburtina shopping center i only had an hour and a half to shop!
though i've mastered the art of quick browsing - thanks to black fridays - i prefer not to be rushed when shopping in a new mall. especially when i know they have a kiko store!
and thus i left empty handed... i know huh? tragedy. but we might go back tomorrow.
anyways, i did enjoy the deadness of the mall. no one seems to go shopping unless it's the weekend.
