so after last night's lightning show, i expected the rain... but i didn't expect the thunderstorm at 4am!! my gad.
in all my times of visiting tivoli i don't think i have ever witnessed or experienced a thunderstorm. it was so loud! and with these walls you can hear major thunder - times 20! i thought it was going to crack open the building! freakies.
thus started the coldest day of the trip.
it was so cloudy when i woke up. it's depressing since the past week i've been used to seeing the sun beaming through the window... but not today! it was 20 degrees. it was windy, cloudy and on and off rain and thunderstorm - the whole day!
could be because early this afternoon the first batch of overseas guests arrived - including the groom. so i blame him. i just don't see any other logic in this instant freak weather change. so... definitely the groom.
other than the weather, things seemed to go smoothly. all 10 people arrived. luggage and everything. and all dispersed to their assigned lodging.
so day 1 complete with no problems.
